Daisy H. Fricke

Mrs. Daisy H. Fricke, age 92, went to be with her Lord Wednesday morning, September 10, 2008. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on May 27, 1916 to Thomas and Martha "Mattie" (Hepworth) Haase and had lived in Muskegon since 1934. Mrs. Fricke was a life-long member of Oakwood Baptist and Trinity Baptist Church and was a life-long volunteer for God. On April 21, 1934, Daisy married Charles Fricke and they were married for 59 years before he went to be with his Lord on January 8, 1994. Daisy is survived by 5 children, Nina DeVries of Fruitport, Maxine (Tom) Buck of Grand Haven, Tom (Cheryl) Fricke of Twin Lake, Nelson (Peggy) Fricke of Muskegon and Mike Fricke of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Daisy was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son-in-law, Ronald DeVries; 1 brother and 3 sisters. SERVICES will be 1PM Tuesday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Scott Church officiating. VISITATION will be from 3-5 & 7-9PM Monday. INTERMENT will be in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIALS in Mrs. Fricke's name may be made to Harbor Hospice.
