Dahl, Arthur F.

Mr. Dahl, age 84, died November 6, 2006. Born August 31, 1922, in Claybanks Township, to Nick and Hazel (Fredrick) Dahl, he had lived in the White Lake area all his life. On August 23, 1947, in Montague, he married the former D. Jean Myers, who preceded him in death in 2002. He had worked as an aeronautical engineer at Brunswick Corp. for 36 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Dahl was an active member of White Lake VFW Post #3256 and was a dedicated and active member of White Lake Area Sportfishing Association. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. FAMILY: 4 children, Candice Workman of Muskegon, Jeff (Connie) Dahl of Big Piney, WY, Christine (Bob) Koll and Mitchell (Lori) Dahl, both of Lincoln, NE; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Andrew (Dee) Dahl, Robert (Sue) Dahl and Glenn (Faye) Dahl, all of Montague. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, November 10, 2006, at 11:00 AM, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall with Mr. James K. Tanis officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be extended at the funeral home by White Lake VFW Post #3256.
