Curtis W. Stewart

Mr. Curtis W. Stewart, age 74, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 15, 2007. Curtis was born on June 9, 1933 in Belding, MI to Wilbur (Pat) and Olive (Curtis) Stewart. He came here as a young boy. Curtis married Marcella Janusiewicz on June 18, 1955. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Curtis taught art for North Muskegon Public Schools, retiring after 32 years and later worked for Teledyne Continental Motors, retiring a second time. Curtis enjoyed vegetable gardening, traveling, and visiting art galleries. Curtis loved his family and spending time with them. Survivors include his wife, Marcella; two daughters, Linda (Randall) Skipski of Three Rivers and Joni (Tim) Reese of Muskegon; four grandchildren, Courtney and Tyler Skipski and Delanie and Kylie Reese; and sister, Mary Jean (Lynn) Oberlin of Gainesville, FL; and brother, James (Mary) Stewart of Lansing. Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior at the church.
