Curtis Jake Cotton, age 80, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born in Kosciusko, MS on September 29, 1943 to Jake & Lillian (Bates) Cotton. Mr. Cotton attended and graduated from Muskegon High School. He had been employed as a Foundry Worker for numerous years until an accident occurred leaving him unable to work. Curtis enjoyed collecting music, listening to Blues, keeping his car clean, and spending time with family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.


SURVIVORS

Sisters, Sheila Cotton and Ada Fluker; Sons, Antonio Rosas of Spring Lake and Marcus Cotton; Girlfriend, Mary McLaurin; granddaughter, A'Kaylee Cotton; special nieces, Lajoy Frierson and Latoya Cotton; special nephew, Ricky Sanders; and a host of many other nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dafroe Cotton, Carlander Cotton, and Joyce Sanders; and great niece Asia Frierson.


SERVICE

Friday, March 15, 2024, 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with Senior Pastor Daryl Jefferson officiating. Interment in Mona View Cemetery.
