Ms. Glendle Rose Crouch, age 61, died unexpectedly at her home in Montague, January 1, 2007. She was born on September 21, 1945 in North Carolina, the oldest of three children of Patrick McCullen and Thelma Roberts (both deceased). She married Robert Crouch in 1963 and they had two children, Connie and Angie Crouch. Glendle always believed "family comes first" and throughout her life she opened her heart and her home to many relatives. She raised and cared for her deceased sister Gail Bolduc's children, Richard and Michelle Bolduc. Glendle also took care of her brother Larry McCullen (deceased) and his son Shannon. After her children were grown, Glendle went on to become a well-respected and much loved nanny for dozens of families in the Detroit area. She also ran a Day Care Center from her home. Glendle loved to laugh and to be surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her four children, five grandsons, and two great grandchildren. Visitation - Mon., Jan. 8, 2007 from 11 AM - 1 PM - Clock Funeral Home - Whitehall. Funeral 1 pm. Internment - Oakgrove Cemetery - Montague. Reception - 2:30 - 4:30 American Legion Hall - 803 E. Colby St., Whitehall.
