Cora Fern Boerman

Miss Cora Fern Boerman, age 91, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 16, 1924 to Benjamin & Ethel (Lamb) Boerman. Miss Boerman had been employed as a Bookkeeper for GTE Telephone for 42 years until retiring. Cora was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church and enjoyed reading, needlework, golfing, bowling and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews whom she loved as her children, as well as, her special friends Carol & Britt Nelson. SURVIVORS Many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces great nephews and great great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Betty Boerman of Lansing; special friends, Carol & Brett Nelson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Karrel & Lee Berman. SERVICE According to Fern's wishes, no services will be held. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
