Cook, Vera G.

Mrs. Vera G. Cook, age 88, passed away January 31, 2007, following a brief illness. She was born August 23, 1918 in Stanmore, Alberta, Canada, the 11th of 12 children, to Emanuel and Emilia (Leischner) Siewert. She married Clifford C. Cook in Wyndmere, ND on August 4, 1943 and they moved to Bismarck, ND in 1949. Clifford preceded Vera in death on December 29, 1976. She was employed as a Division Manager at Sears-Roebuck in Bismarck for 27 years before retiring in 1976. Vera relocated to Muskegon in 1995. SURVIVORS: 1 brother, Lawrence Siewert of Muskegon; 1 sister, Elsa Lee of Olympia, WA; and many nieces & nephews. In accordance with her wishes, a private memorial service was held.
