Connie L. Emerson

Connie Lynne Emerson joined the love of her life, Jim Emerson, Friday, January 4th, 2019. She was born in Muskegon to Frank and Jennette (Pitts) Swanson on October 11, 1949. She grew up and remained in North Muskegon for the majority of her life. She will always be remembered for her unfailing ability to provide cookies, cheer on every player on her grandchildrens hockey teams, and for her kind heart. SURVIVORS She is survived by her daughter and son, Janel and Justin VanDyke. Connies most proud life accomplishment was her grandchildren, Cole, Huck, Bear VanDyke whom she loved dearly and adored and exchange student daughter, Monique (Ringo) Massa of the Netherlands and their children, June & Lily. Both of her parents and many other loved ones preceded her in death. SERVICE No Services will be held. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund with The Muskegon Junior Lumberjacks Youth Hockey Association will be setup in Jim and Connies memory.
