Clifford C. Udell

UDELL, MR. CLIFFORD C. Norton Shores Mr. Clifford C. Udell, age 87, died Sunday, December 4, 2005. He was born in Mancelona, MI on July 29, 1918 to Romay & Florence Hobson Udell & married Dorothy Sweet on January 22, 1938. Mr. Udell served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed as a Machine Operator at Teledyne Continental Motors for 34 years until retiring in the late 1970's. Mr. Udell was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church & member & Past Master of the Ravenna Masonic Lodge # 441 where he was also voted Mason of the year for 2005. SURVIVORS Wife of 67 years, Dorothy; 4 daughters, Lavisa McPherson of Spring Lake, Dorothy Tim Pendelton of Knoxville, TN, Sharon Terry VanDonkelaar of Muskegon & Kathryn Del TenBrock of Twin Lake; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eunice Herman VanHorne of Benton Harbor, MI & Helen Cummins of Muskegon; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister & a great grandson. SERVICE Wednesday, December 7, 2005, 2:00 PM at McGraft Memorial Congregational Church with Rev. Gerald Wahr officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona, MI. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a Masonic Service at 8:30 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
