Clifford Colburn

Mr. Clifford James Colburn , age 90, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 17, 1925 to Edgar & Ethel Colburn and married the former Carolyn Hamstra on March 14, 1947. Mr. Colburn served in the United States Navy and later, was employed as an Arc Welder for Shaw Walker, for 40 years until retiring. Clifford was a member of Seventh Day Adventist. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping and woodworking. SURVIVORS Wife, Carolyn; children, Sandy (Gene) Keirnan, Gordon (Kathy) Colburn, Dennis (Sherry) Colburn, Rande (Helen) Colburn; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Sydney Hamstra; several neices & nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Alan Colburn; brothers, Ernest Colburn, Lowell Colburn, Russell Colburn; sisters, Olive Anderson, Iola Woodard. SERVICE Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 12:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at Seventh Day Adventist with Pastor Loren Nelson officiating. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery.
