SMITH, MR. CLEO E. Muskegon, MI Mr. Cleo E. Smith, age 78, died Friday, June 27, 2003. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 20, 1924 to Otis & Mabel Gustafson Smith & married the former Alice Vanderstelt on July 12, 1946 in Muskegon. Mr. Smith served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. He had been employed as a shipping clerk at American Coil Springs for over 30 years until retiring in 1986 & was a member & past Commander of V.F.W. Post #446. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Gloria William McDonald & Kathleen Gary Gardenour, both of Muskegon, MI; 3 grand-daughters, Christina Lee Homer, Erin McDonald & Dawn Gardenour; 1 sister, Dolores Herb Peterson of Muskegon, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Alice in 1972, a son, Gary Lee Smith in 1971 & by a brother, Robert Smith. SERVICE Monday, June 30, 2003, 3:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev.
