Cleo Ann Harakas, age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 29, 2023. She was born in Muskegon, MI on September 13, 1932 to William & Anna (Pattakos) Cheones. She married Donald Harakas on June 17,

1956. Cleo had been employed as a Dental Assistant before her marriage, and was a stay-at-home mother for many years. Later, she helped in the family business at The Clothes Basket and Apparelmaster-Muskegon. Cleo was a longtime member of the

Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She grew beautiful roses, loved gardening, and caring for her lawn. She also wore out several snow shovels every year. Cleo enjoyed walks along the channel with her friends. She especially loved spending time with her family.

SURVIVORS

Husband, Donald, 2 daughters, Lori (Eric) Anderson, Nancy (Tom) Andersen; Grandchildren, Jeremy (Soizic) Anderson, Julie (Ray) Maas, Joseph Andersen (Hannah Erdman) , Scott Andersen, Alexis Andersen (Blair Shaw); great-granddaughter Arlyn Maas; and Sister, Connie Katsaros. She was preceded in death by a sister, Avanthea Eliopulos.
