Mr. Clarence "Roy" L. Wildie, age 90, died Monday, August 6, 2007. He was born in Shiawassee County, MI on January 30, 1917 to Clarence & Bernice (Williams) Wildie and married the former Eileen McCarthy on April 12, 1941. Roy was a US Navy veteran of WWII and a member of Fellowship Reformed Church where he was a Deacon and an Elder. He worked with sheet metal for several local companies retiring in 1979 from East Muskegon Roofing. SURVIVORS Wife, Eileen; son, Sid (Colleen) Wildie of Burleson, TX; daughters, Diane (Ted) Lapinski of Muskegon, Shelley (Reg) Smith of Montague; grandchildren, Kari (Scott) Hadley, Adam Wildie, Kelly (Ken) Grant, Tracey (Kathy) Robertson, Pete (Cindi) Smith, Mandie Smith, kyle, Kandas & Kainan Grant, Sydney & Emma Thompson, Ronica & Wildie Ann Smith, Amy, Rachel & Erica Good; sisters, Leona Balentine & Arlene Barnes. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don & Arden and one sister, Thelma Richards. SERVICE Thursday, August 9, 2007, 4:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Rev. Scott Church officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Alzheimer's Association or Diabetes Association.
