Mr. Clarence E. "Ed" Morrison, age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. He was born in Lapeer, Michigan on December 24, 1929 to James & Orrie Burch and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married the former Priscilla Thomas on August 25, 1956. Mr. Morrison had been employed as an Assistant Service Manager for Blais Lincoln Mercury for 25 years until retiring. Ed was a former member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church and a long time member of the Muskegon Eagles and V.F.W. He enjoyed his yard, camping, woodworking, helping the community elderly and his beloved dog Buffy, yet foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 58 years, Priscilla; son, John (Kelly Haga) Morrison of Caledonia; daughter, Carol (Donald) Peterson of Norton Shores, Cheryl (Ron) Ison of IN, Cindy (Greg) Holmes of Fruitport; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry. SERVICE Saturday, May 30, 2015, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating. Interment in Spring Lake Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Paws with a Cause or Heartland Hospice.
