BEIGHLEY, MR. CLARENCE R. Fruitport, MI Mr. Clarence R. Beighley, age 78, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003. He was born in Bloomer, WI on July 11, 1924 to Glenn & Lillian Messerschmidt Beighley & married the former Lorene F. Dukes on May 9, 1943. Mr. Beighley served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII as a Gunner in the 1st Tank Div. Company B. He had been employed at The Grand Rapids Press for over 20 years until retiring in 1976. He was a member of The Church of God of Anderson, IN & D.A.V. SURVIVORS Wife, Lorene; 1 son, Robert Elizabeth Beighley of Canton, MI; 1 daughter, Marilee Reggie Stroebe of Spring Lake, MI; 7 grandchildren, Dawn Dave Blanton, Tracy & Stephanie Beighley, Holly Matt Barton, Todd Sherri Stroebe, Tim Jennifer Stroebe & Ted Diana Stroebe; 7 great grandchildren, Kristen & Marisa Stroebe, Auston, Katie & Steven Blanton, Olivia & Grace Barton; 1 sister, Carol Dennis Hackney of Muskegon, MI; 2 brothers, Virgil Barb Beighley & Leon Delores Beighley, both of Muskegon, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents & by a sister, Betty Joslin. SERVICE Saturday, March 22, 2003, 10:30 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Lynette Gillett officiating.
