HUMPHREYS, MR. CLARE Fruitport Mr. Clare Humphreys, age 92, died Sunday, May 2, 2004. He was born in Traverse City, MI on July 28, 1911 to George & Elizabeth Cline Humphreys & married the former Dorothy May France on October 3, 1939 in Nunica, MI. Mr. Humphreys had been employed as a milkman at McDonalds Dairy for 35 years until retiring. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Mr. Humphreys enjoyed hunting, woodcarving & baseball. SURVIVORS Wife, Dorothy of Muskegon; 4 sons, Glenn Meredith Humphreys of Comstock Park, Lane Humphreys of Ravenna, Mark Christine Humphreys of Lisbon NH & William G. Beverly Humphreys of Douglasville, GA; 8 grandchildren; several great & great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers & 1 sister. SERVICE Thursday, May 6, 2004, 10:30 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Donald Zimmerman officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
