Clara Taylor

Mrs. Clara J. Taylor, age 90, died peacefully Wednesday, April 25, 2007. She was born on March 6, 1917 in Jerome, PA to Karl and Mary (Pavlak) Murat and came to Muskegon as a young girl. Clara married Raymond Bean on January 4, 1935 and he died in 1973. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and had retired from the Shaw Walker Co. Survivors include her son, Norman (Marcia) Bean of Pueblo West, CO; grandsons, Jeffery Bean of Muskegon and Steven (Jill) Bean of Ann Arbor; her great-grandsons, Riley Bean and Josh and Kylar Damon; brother, Edward (Arlene) Murat of Twin Lake; special niece and nephew, Sandra and Larry Hoogstraat of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. Clara was also preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Patricia Rae Bean; two brothers, and two sisters. A memorial service will begin at 10:30am Tuesday at St Thomas Church. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Church Endowment Fund.
