Clara Louise Plank PLANK, MRS. CLARA LOUISE (Widow of Norman) Muskegon Mrs. Clara Louise Plank, age 89, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006. She was born May 24, 1916 in Petersburg, IL to John J. and Ella Pfaffenbach and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On May 31, 1941, she married Norman T. "Ted" Plank, Sr. and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2000. Clara spent her life caring for her family. She was very proud to have been the nanny for Richard and Nancy McCarthy's children for many years. She volunteered for many years for Muskegon Township Elections. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Mary Ann (Doug Hotelling) Dunn of Brooksville, FL, David (Cindy) Plank of Twin Lake, Tom Plank of Brooksville, FL, Eloise (Ron Tymes) West of Grand Rapids, Robert (Jill) Plank of Hesperia, Paul (Dianna) Plank of Twin Lake; 12 grandchildren, Michael Dunn, Patrick Dunn, Shelly (Todd) Traxler, Scott (Dawn) Plank, Lori (Brad) Doriot, David Plank, Matthew Plank, Will West, Elizabeth West, Carli Plank, Caleb Plank, Adam Plank; 7 great grandchildren, TJ Traxler, Justin Traxler, Alina Traxler, Dylan Traxler, McKenzie Doriot, Lauren Doriot, and Leah Plank. She was also preceded in death by her son, Theodore T. "Ted" Plank, Jr. in 1988, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2006 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Bart Okagbue presiding. VISITATION with Clara's family will take place one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Friday at church.
