Clara Arlean Garvey

Clara Arlean Garvey, passed away peacefully on Thurs., Feb. 21, 2008 in Hart, MI. She was born July 4, 1928 to William Alfred and Celena Voylet (Whaley) Barrett. She liked to work and has done everything from picking all types of fruit and vegetables to working as a licensed practical nurse, to office work for the Muskegon Rescue Mission. Clara has always been an active member in church and enjoyed singing. She now joins in heaven, her husbands, Ernest Fessenden, Francis (Smitty) Smith and Bobbie Ray Garvey; son, Rick; brothers, Vern, Perl, Clifford, Orson and Alfred and sister, Etta. She is survived by her children, Arlean (Bruce) Parker, Darrell (Cheryl) Fessenden and Gordon (Diane) Fessenden; stepson, Terry (Kathy) Garvey; sisters, Ivry (Bud) Fielstra, Darlene Webster and Doris Zeck; sisters-in-law, Georgiana (Clifford) Barrett and Medora (Percy) Harvell; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Mon., March 3, 10 am at Harris Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 11 am. Memorial: Muskegon Rescue Mission or Harbor Hospice.
