GARDNER, MRS. CLARA DOROTHY Muskegon, MI Mrs. Clara D. Gardner, age 91, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 14, 1911 to Oscar & Christine Johnson Erickson & married Russell Gardner in November of 1938. Mrs. Gardner had been a homemaker & was a member of Fifth Reformed Church. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Emil Sue Gardner & Eugene Carol Gardner, both of Muskegon, MI; 2 daughters, Christina Richard Baatz of Howell, MI & Alice Barrett of Muskegon, MI; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Hazel Scott of Fremont, MI & Anna Lothschutz of Muskegon, MI; 1 brother, Herman Mary Erickson of Twin Lake, MI; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1973; 1 grandson, Eugene Gardner in 1982 & by a son-in-law, Robert Barrett in 1996. SERVICE Saturday, January 18, 2003, 11:00 AM at Fifth Reformed Church with Rev. Norman Swier officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Friday, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
