Clair Hessel

Mr Clair L. Hessel, age 94, died Saturday, March 10, 2007. He was born in Cobmossa, MI on August 17, 1912 to Asaph LeRoy & Cora Ellen (Cook) Hessel and married the former Mary Lasser on September 3, 1987. He served as a captain the U.S. Army during W.W.II. Mr. Hessel had been the owner of Hessel Food Market in Lakeside for over 40 years. He was a former member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church of Florida and a former member of the Moose Lodge. He was an avid bowler who enjoyed card games and dancing. SURVIVORS Wife, Mary; sister, Dorothy Marceau of Whitehall; brother-in-law, Irvin Carlson of Roosevelt Park; several nieces and nephews. SERVICE There will be no services.
