Ciulis, Helen

Mrs. Helen Ciulis, age 92, died peacefully Saturday, October 28, 2006. She was born on April 1, 1914, in Munising, MI, to Joseph and Katherine (Tapek) Loko. Helen married John Ciulis on January 27, 1934 and he died in 1957. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and had been the church office secretary and receptionist there over 25 years. Survivors include her children, Michael Ciulis of Muskegon, MI, and Kathleen Lowry of Lansing, MI; and her 5 grandchildren. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, and three sisters. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 am Tuesday morning at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will be made in St. Marys Cemetery. Visitation hours are today from 6-8 pm at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm. Visitation at the church Tuesday one hour prior to service. Remembrances to St. Michaels Church Endowment Fund.
