Chrystal Scheffers

Mrs. Chrystal Scheffers, age 95, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007. She was born June 11, 1912 in Walker, Michigan to Ira & Grace Rogers. She married Simon D. Scheffers in 1932, they spent 53 happy years together until his death in 1985. Chrystal loved fishing, playing cards, games, doing puzzles, was an avid reader and loved watching the Detroit Tigers. Mrs. Scheffers is survived by her children, Donna Pope of Fruitport, Richard (Gaye) Scheffers of DeTour, MI and Nancy J. Allen of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Ross Pope, Yale Pope, Heath Pope, Perry Scheffers, Sue Shultz, Jim Scheffers, Hesper Allen and 11 great grandchildren.
