Mrs Christina Rae Staple, age 73, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 29, 1951 to Clarence & Jeanne (Fouts) Clark Jr and graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in 1969. She then went on to Muskegon Community College and Grand Valley State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She married Mark Staple on January 19, 1973. Chris worked as a teacher for Reeths Puffer Adult Education, then at Quality Farm and Fleet and then finished at Eye Care One. She was a former member at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church and participated in the Gift of Life Heart Transplant Support Group. Chris always enjoyed her trips to the Upper Peninsula and visiting the Black River Waterfalls. In her earlier years she liked to make oil paintings and for many years enjoyed her "girls christmas shopping trips". Asa grandmother she like having "Movie Night" with her grandchildren and watching the birds in her yard. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Husband Mark Staple; children, Jamison (Anita) Staple, Jennifer (Zach) VanderSlute; step-children, Andrew Staple, Aaron Dillon; grandchildren, Brittany, Joshua, Ashley, Johnny, Hannah, Sarah, Benjamin, Issac, Henry, Bryson; siblings, Cheryl (Michael) Alford, Penny (Bob Stong) Walsworth, Pam (Mike) Walsworth, Terry (Brenda) Clark; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-daughter Aubrey Staple in 2016.
