Christian H Horton

Mr. Christian Henry Horton, age 73, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 18, 1944 to Maxwell & Luella (Veihl) Horton and married the former Rose Ann Stuberg on January 4, 1963. Mr. Horton had been self employed working at auctions and as a bar tender at Nino's & The Patio. Chris was very skilled at buying and selling. He enjoyed life itself and in his younger years, racing was a great past time. Chris loved the game of wheeling and dealing almost as much as Menards and spending time with his family. SURVIVORS Children, Cassandra (Brett) Alexander of Fruitport, Kimberly (Steve) Klassen of TX, David (Jackie Falaska) Horton of Fruitport, Chris (Kari ) Horton of Fruitport; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Janet (Richard) Finneman, Sandy (Roger) Merkins; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends; longtime friend of the family, Cheryl Ries. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann; son, Howard, daughter, Gladys Horton Wheeler, brother, Max & niece, Stephanie Ries.
