VINK, MR. CHESTER J. Spring Lake, MI Mr. Chester J. Vink, age 87, died Saturday, March 22, 2003. He was born in Spring Lake, MI on September 4, 1915 to Klaas & Jennie Werkman Vink & married the former Pauline Caroline Weaver in 1943. Mr. Vink served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had been self-employed as a carpenter & contractor & was a member of Christ Community Church & the VFW Post in Spring Lake. SURVIVORS Son, Kirt Cindy Vink of Evart, MI; 3 grandchildren, Lisa, Laura & Brian Vink; 2 sisters, Janet Briegel & Gertrude Floyd Hecksel, both of Spring Lake, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline on March 17, 1999; 5 sisters & by 1 brother. SERVICE Wednesday, March 26, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Rev. Bob Kleinheksel officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: American Kidney Association or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
