Chester Luders

Mr. Chester Gustave Luders , age 98, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 21, 1919 to Gustave & Florence (Mowery) Luders. Mr. Luders served in the U.S. Air Force where he served in multiple theatres to include: World War II, Korea, China & Africa. After serving his country, Mr. Luders worked at Western Costumes in Hollywood, and later worked in publications for Sealed Power for over 30 years until retiring in 1984. Chester loved boats & ships, gardening, reading, history, collecting flags which he flew at his house on the channel & most importantly, spending time with his many friends. SURVIVORS Niece, Barbara Luders; cousins, Greg Wenzel, Louis Hansen; special friend, Jon DeVoogd; many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Luders. SERVICE There will be a private graveside service at Mona View Cemetery.
