COOLEY, MR. CHAUNCEY W. JR. Fruitport Mr. Chauncey W. Cooley, Jr. age 81, died Thursday, July 21, 2005. He was born in Muskegon Heights on October 30, 1923 to Chauncey & Mary Ann Malone Cooley, Sr. and married the former Betty Stone on May 29, 1946. Mr. Cooley had served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He had been employed as a Set-up man at Clarke Floor Machine for 40 years and was a member of Fruitport Congregational U.C.C. and the Fruitport V.F.W., CBI Unit China, Burma, India. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the community of Fruitport for over 40 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing & traveling, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 59 years, Betty; 2 sons, Roger Cooley of Harbor Springs, MI, Chuck Debroah Cooley of Grand Rapids; daughter, Wendy Glenn Vorres of Fremont; 6 grandchildren, Kelly, Korri, Jimmy, Tony, Nick, Toshia; 3 great grandchildren, Shelbi, Cheyanne, Dakota; several nieces & nephews; very special friend, Lauri Baxter Hall of Fruitport. SERVICE Services were held on Monday, July 25, 2005, at the Clock Chapel - Fruitport with Pastor Don Wood officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Fruitport V.F.W.. Clock - Fruitport
