Charlotte Johnson Tokarz

Mrs. Charlotte M. Tokarz, age 84, passed away Saturday morning, March 17, 2007, in Grand Haven, following a long illness. The youngest of 6 children, Chardi was born on April 19, 1922 to Edward and Rose (Trepanier) Hart in Hart, MI and graduated from Hart High School. Mrs. Tokarz was formerly employed at Gardner-Denver and retired from Howmet in 1984. She was a member of the Grand Haven V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary, loved dancing, bowling and traveling. SURVIVORS: 6 children, Dennis Johnson of Norton Shores; Thomas (Dorleen) Johnson of Douglas, GA; Brian (Alice) Johnson of Norton Shores; Michael (Pam) Johnson of Grand Haven; Paula (Richard) Siemion of East Lake, MI and Connie Barber of Grand Haven; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Lyles; great-grandson, Tyler Lyles; and former husbands, Paul Johnson and Ed Tokarz. In accordance with her wishes there will be no service or visitation.
