Charlotte Ann Paszkowski

Charlotte Ann Paszkowski, age 88, of Muskegon, passed away on August 11, 2026, at Trinity Hospital. Born to Edward and Cecilia (Bailey) Shalifoe on May 3, 1938, in Baraga, Michigan, Charlotte was the beloved wife of Jacob Paszkowski. They were married on October 8, 1956, in Muskegon and shared nearly 70 years of love and life together.

A proud member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians and a graduate of Whitehall High School, Charlotte began her cosmetology career at age 16, apprenticing with Peggy White. She styled hair at Grossman's department store salon, Peggy White's, and later at Alexis & Company in North Muskegon, owned by Peggy's daughter. Charlotte's gifted hands and warm heart served generations of clients, and she continued doing hair into her 80s. While raising her family, she also worked as a school bus driver and cook-reflecting her devotion to her children and community.

Charlotte embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved bowling, camping, biking, dancing, concerts and movies-including a recent Michael Jackson tribute-and weekly movie outings. Most of all, she cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

SURVIVORS

She is survived by her husband, Jacob; children Patrick (Amber) Paszkowski, Jeff Paszkowski (partner Mary Woronko), Steve Paszkowski, Jackie (Jacquelyn) Flaska, and Marsha Frost; grandchildren Christopher Burmeister, Kirk Paszkowski, Jake Paszkowski, Alicia Trumble, Tawney Paszkowski, Brent Flaska, and Chad Flaska; and many dear great-grandchildren, including Blake, Blaine, Aubrey, Tommy, Sydney, Philip, Asher, Elias, Titus, Teddy, and Louie; sister Bernice Estlund, brothers, Andrew "Andy" Shalifoe, Martin "Marty" Shalifoe. She is also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Philip Paszkowski and her siblings, Madeline Cecilia Shalifoe, Edward Shalifoe, Terry Shalifoe, Michael "Mike" Shalifoe, Maurice "Koko" Shalifoe & Robert "Bobby" Shalifoe.

SERVICE

Monday, August 17, 2026, 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home with VISITATION one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment in Fruitland Township Cemetery following the service.
