Charles Raymond Starr

Mr. Charles Raymond Starr, Sr. unexpectedly died Saturday, October 6, 2007. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 5, 1955. Charles was employed as a Classification Director for the Michigan Department of Corrections for 15 years. He was also a member and deacon for the Church of the Living God in Muskegon. SURVIVORS: Wife, Regina of Muskegon, MI; sons, Charles R. Starr, II of Las Vegas, Nevada; Golden (Alexandra) Starr of Summerville, South Carolina and Roman D. Starr of Grand Rapids; Grandson, Chase A. Starr, born to Golden and Alexandra; Father, Jesse L. Starr, Sr., Mother, O'nelda Starr; brothers, Jesse L. (Phyllis) Starr, Jr; James E. (Joyce) Starr, Sr. and Sisters, Loretta Courtney, Patricia Clark and Felicia Starr. VISITATION: Mr. Starr will lie in state at the Church of the Living God (4249 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon) today from 11:00am to 8:00 pm. Family hour will be from 6:00-8:00pm at the Church of the Living God. SERVICE: Saturday, October 13, 2007, 11:00 am at the Church of the Living God.
