Charles Schrader Jr.

Mr. Charles Schrader Jr. age 84, died Saturday April 25, 2009. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on June 5, 1924 to Charles & Bessie (Scese) Schrader and married Jennie Heykoop in 1945. Charles had proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII and had been employed at S.D. Warren for over 36years prior to retiring in 1988. He was a founding member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church and enjoyed music, his guitar and golfing having once made a hole in one but foremost always was his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Jennie; children, Sherry( Martin) Ippel of Spring lake, Tom Schrader of Muskegon, Larry ( Debra ) Schrader of Ravenna, Laura ( Tim ) Kies of Muskegon; sisters, Barbara Vannoordwyk of NC, Rosemary Pasco of MN, Shirley Schrader of Wyoming, MI; brother, Robert ( Alva ) Schrader of Petoskey. 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his son Charles and his brother Rex. SERVICE Wednesday, April 29, 2009, 3pm at Clock Chapel with Pastor Scott Church officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Veterans Honor Guard will be held by The Muskegon County Council. VISITATION Wednesday 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home.
