Charles Mauke

Mr. Charles Joseph Mauke, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1942 to Arnold & Dorothy (Blume) Mauke and married the former Cora Benson on December 29, 2009. Mr. Mauke had been employed for City of Whitehall for 29 years until retiring. Charles enjoyed movies, trains and cars. SURVIVORS Wife, Cora Mauke; children, Joseph Mauke, Kelly Sue Mauke, Amy (Paul) Whipple, Nick Mauke, Amanda Mauke; grandchildren, Erica Marshall, Nicole Mauke, Rashon Mauke, J'Andre Mauke; stepchildren, Angela (Jerry) Strobridge, Anna (Ryan) Day, Chris (Bobbi) Schaub; step grandchildren, Hailey Strobridge, Breanna Wellman, Mitchell Wellman, Caden Day, Christopher & Kenley Schaub; siblings, Butch (Theresa) Mauke, Brian Mauke, Sandy Mauke; sisters & brothers-in-law, Carlet Mitenbuler, Douglas (Margie) Benson, Ben Benson. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Makayla Mauke. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Saturday, February 20, 2016, 4:00-7:00 pm at Whitehall American Legion.
