Charles "Bill" Maddix Jr.

Mr. Charles William "Bill" Maddix, age 75, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He was born in Muskegon, MI on April 28, 1937 to Charles & Wilma (Hathaway) Maddix and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1955. He married the former Winnifred Haas on March 20, 1991. Mr. Maddix had been a maintenance supervisor in the Muskegon Public Schools for 22 years until retiring. He enjoyed beagles, classic cars and the First Baptist Church of Okahumpka FL. SURVIVORS Wife, Winnifred; son, Bill (Vicki) Maddix of Nunica; grandchildren, Marie & Joseph Maddix; sisters, Bonnie (Ron) Jensen, Betty Whelan; many nieces & nephews; longtime friend, Bob Allen, Bill Irlan. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Ina & Jesse Hathaway; 1st wife of 35 years, Jeannine; brothers, Bob Maddix and Walter Maddix.
