LINDBURG, MR. CHARLES ARTHUR Twin Lake Mr. Charles A. Lindberg of Twin Lake, born May 4, 1923, deceased May 20, 2004, age 81. A lifelong resident of the Muskegon area, he graduated from Muskegon High School in 1941. Mr. Lindberg served in the Army Air Corp as a Flight Officer. While on a bombing mission over Germany his B-24 bomber was shot down & he spent 6 months as a POW. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Lindberg was owner of Muskegon Travel Bureau for many years. SURVIVORS Robert D'Alcorn Jan of Charlevoix, daughters, Joan Kovack Andy of Scotts and Carol Obriot Ken of Mechanicsville VA and sisters Florence Gecowets Ralph and Helen VanDyke. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 30 years, Marie, his parents, a sister, Mae Hamstra & by a daughter, Pamela D'Alcorn. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, May 25, 2004, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home.
