Charles Devowe

Mr. Charles M. DeVowe, age 58, died Sunday, November 6, 2011. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 12, 1953 to Myrle & Doris (Ritz) DeVowe and married the former Deanna Cooper on October 7, 1978. Mr. DeVowe had been employed as a Manager at Walgreens for 19 years until retiring in 2006. He was a member of Northside Christian Church. Charles was an avid gardener who enjoyed his pets, decorating, oil painting, reading and his church. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Deanna; mother, Doris DeVowe of Muskegon; sister, Catherine (Arvid) Sias of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Garth (Rui) Cooper of Hastings; sisters-in-law, Ruth (MaryAnne Riters) Cooper of Muskegon, Cindy (Jerry) Morehouse of Muskegon, Christine (Curt Cady) Cooper of MN; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Myrle. SERVICE Thursday, November 10, 2011, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Mr. Arvid Sias Jr. officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Wednesday, 4-7 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Northside Christian Church.
