Charles Dagen

Mr. Charles L. "Pat" Dagen, age 90, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 17, 1923 to Charles & Christine (Jensen) Dagen and served his country in the US Army during WWII. He married the former Donna L. Hoover on January 18, 1947 and had been employed as a Supervisor at Clarke Floor Machine for 36 years until retiring in 1983 and a volunteer fire fighter for Egelston Township. Pat was a life member of V.F.W. #3734, Fruitport-Polar Bear Post and military rites detail and the Holton American Legion #0397. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who played baseball for the city. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 66 years, Donna; daughter, Linda (Robert) McCrea of Allendale; grandchildren, Robert (Samantha) McCrea of Wyoming MI, Tricia (John) McPheron of Coopersville; great grandchildren, Cooper, Camden, Georgia McCrea, Finnean, Bennett McPheron; sister, Barbara Kirkpatrick of Kalamazoo; special nephew, Dennis (Janet) Dagen and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Irene Denton, Louis, Virginia McDonald and John. SERVICE Wednesday, November 13, 2013, 11:00 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert J. Conradt officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
