Charles Beak

Charles "Chuck" H. Beak Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on December 26th, 2018 in Muskegon, Michigan. Chuck was born on February 6th, 1943 in Fremont Michigan to his parents, Percy and Henrietta Beak & his foster parents, Jack and Naomi Misner. He Served his country in the United States Marines Corps. Chuck loved to watch old western movies, NASCAR and was a die hard Detroit Lions fan. He enjoyed helping others and was always given everyone a hard time. He loved spending time with his dog Beanie and working in his yard. Chuck is survived by his girlfriend Dorlene Clark; his daughter, Ruth and Mark McCaleb of Grand Haven; daughter, Corrina Beak of Spring Lake; Son, Charles { Beaker} Beak Jr of Reed City; son, David Beak of Muskegon; his best friend Karen Beak; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Dick Snyder; many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Vanderlaan; brother, Roger Beak; mother-in-law, Dorlene Kobera; his beloved dog, Tippy Girl. The family will have a get together for time of sharing memories and military rights at Hope Church 1432 Mercury Dr. Grand Haven, MI 49417 January 5th at 2:00 pm The family would also like to thank St Mary's and North Ottawa Hospice team for all they did for Chuck.
