ASHLEY, MR. CHARLES FRANKLIN North Muskegon, MI Mr. Charles Franklin Ashley, age 70, died Saturday, September 6, 2003. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 19, 1933 to Dick & Frances Garrison Ashley & married the former Patricia Mikos on June 22, 1957 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Ashley served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had been the former owner of Ziebart Rust Proofing of Muskegon & was a realtor at Century 21 for 15 years until retiring in 2001. He was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mr. Ashley enjoyed fishing, golf, his time with the Mr. Quicks Coffee Clutchers & was a former tutor for ''Hosts'' reading program. SURVIVORS Wife, Patricia; 2 sons, Christopher Ashley of CA & Clinton Teresa Ashley of MD; 2 daughters, Kay Donald Thalman of CA & Charlene Luis Ashley Menacho of Chicago, IL; 5 grandchildren, Lauren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Catherine 2 sisters, Katherine Hugh Alger of IL & Margaret Shrider of OH; 2 brothers, Ora Ashley of Muskegon, MI & Bruce Myra Ashley of CO; several nieces & nephews; parents-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Mikos of Ravenna, MI. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Ashley & a sister, Bertha Seymour. MEMORIAL MASS Tuesday, September 9, 2003, 11:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Hart officiating.
