Charlene Lorenz

Charlene Lorenz, age 71, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at DeBoer Living Center in Muskegon. She was born April 15, 1937 in Grand Haven to Paul and Mabel (Curtis) Boettcher, and she married Michael Lorenz on September 23, 1965 in Muskegon. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2002. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven. Surviving is her daughter, Cynthia (Leon) Nickisch of Manitowoc, WI; sons, Tim,Todd, and Jon; one grandson, R.J.; two grand-daughters, Shauna (Nick) Smolen and Jamie (Mort) Loss; one great-grandchild, T.J.; and a sister, Mary Jane Boettcher of Grand Haven. A service for Char will be held at 11:00 a.m. July 18, 2008 at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven with the Rev. Karin Fowler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hermitage Assisted Living or the DeBoer Living Center.
