Charlene Blue

Blue, Mrs. Charlene Alberta Norton Shores Mrs. Charlene Alberta Blue, age 84, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. She was born in Monmouth, Illinois on May 25, 1931 to Milton & Gertrude (Roth) Olson and married Bernard Blue on June 19, 1954. Mrs. Blue had been employed as a Teacher for Mona Shores Elementary School for 25 years until retiring in 1989. Charlene was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Naomi Circle and Eastern Star. She enjoyed needle point, cross stitch, crafts and winter in Florida. SURVIVORS Daughters, Cheryl (Philip) Villere of New Orleans LA, Pam Bulliss of Jenison, Vicki (Todd) Stephan of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Chris Jewell, Lindsey Jewell, Kenny Bulliss, Jessica Villere, Michael Villere, Sara Stephan, Jacob Stephan; great grandchildren, Mikaela, C.J. & Madison Jewell; sister, Carol (Duke Gardner) Miller of Sarasota FL; brother, Charles (Jan) Olson of Gaylord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard on May 20, 1998 and her parents. SERVICE Friday, February 12, 2016, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
