SIMONS, MR. CECIL REED Muskegon, MI Mr. Cecil Reed Simons went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2002. He was born May 2, 1916 in Ishpeming, MI. He was a faithful board member of the First Churhc of the Nazarene in Muskegon, MI; a founding member & board member of the Eastwood Church of the Nazarene ; & a board member of the Grand Haven Church of the Nazarene. Currently he was attending the Norton Shores Gospel Tabernacle. He was married in 1944 to the former Ruby Marcella Vaughn who preceded him in death in 1979. In 1982 he married ther former Betty Childs Fenton who survives him. SURVIVORS He is also survived by his children: Judith Keely Simons; Dennis Simons & wife Julia Kelley Simons & Craig Simons & his wife Cathy Vickers Simons. His grandchildren: Wendy Keely Jordan & Stacy Keely Johnson; RaChelle Pierce & Vaughn Reed Simons; & Jeremy Simons & Jody Simons Mulder. His great-granchildren: Alyson Hannah Jordan, Taylor Sophia Jordan, & Sage Rhyan Johnson. His sister: Margaret Simons. He was a wonderful husband, father & grandfather & will be deeply missed. SERVICE Wednesday, April 10, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Michael McCormick officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 7-8:30 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
