Kersting, Mr. Cecil Carl South Kingstown, Rhode Island (formerly of Muskegon, MI) Mr. Cecil Carl Kersting, age 92, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 2, 1929 to Fred & Libbie (Cole) Kersting and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Laura Holthe on April 24, 1954. Cecil worked for Mobil Oil as a petroleum geologist for 30 years and lived in various places around the world. He enjoyed his bird watching trips that took him to seven of the continents. SURVIVORS Son, Carl F. (Cindy) Kersting; grandson, Jonathan (Julie) Kersting; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Bev) Kersting, many nieces & nephews and longtime companion, Christine Sidler. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Laura & brother, Earl. SERVICE Thursday, August 12, 2021, 1:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev.
