Cecelia Matilda Scott

Mrs. Cecelia M. Scott, age 94, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005. She was born in Alpena, MI on September 19, 1911 to C. Avery & Maria Burrell Cook and married Walter J. Scott on September 24, 1932. Mrs. Scott had been employed as an Elementary school teacher in the Alpena school district for 30 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Muskegon. She and her husband lived in Sun City Center, Florida for 25 years where she enjoyed traveling and golf. SURVIVORS One daughter, Mrs. Joanne F. Darryl Cochrane, and one son, Mr. Douglas G. Elizabeth Scott of Raleigh, NC; 3 grandchildren: Thomas Sigrid Cochrane, Dana Neil Hoekstra and David JenniferScott. She had 5 great-grand children. She was preceeded in death by her beloved husband, Walter, 1 grandchild, Peter, and 5 brothers. SERVICE A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. MEMORIAL, First Congregational Church.
