Caughey, Donna J.

Mrs. Donna J. Caughey, age 87, died Saturday afternoon, December 16. 2006, in Muskegon. She was born June 25, 1919 in Muskegon to Arthur A. and Alice M. (Fuller) Anderson and had been a life resident of the area. On June 20, 1970 she married Robert J. Caughey and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1996. Donna was an active member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church and of the Mayflower Guild. She was also a member of the Muskegon Women's Club, AMBUCS, BPOE and the Vikings. Donna was manager of the Elaine Powers Figure Salon for several years. She loved boating on Lake Michigan and traveling with Bob in their motor home. SURVIVORS include one son, Gordon A. (Donna) Conant of Franklin, Wisconsin, and one daughter, Lynda (Thomas) Cutler of Byron Center, Michigan; two step-children, Jon (Joann) Caughey of North Muskegon and Candace (John) Stott of Norton Shores; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Donna was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Wells and one step-son, Dennis Caughey. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at Mona View Cemetery Chapel with the Rev.
