Catherine S. Fuller

Mrs. Catherine S. Fuller, age 86, passed away at her residence Monday afternoon following a long illness. Catherine was born in Muskegon on October 6, 1921 to Isidor and Rose (Wieber) Huss. She married Mr. George Fuller in 1939; he preceded her in death in 2000. Catherine was employed at Muskegon Piston Ring for 28 years, retiring in 1979. She was a life long member of the U.A.W. Local 480, Union Buyers Club and was secretary of the Local 480 retirees. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and throughout her active life served on many different boards and organizations. Catherine is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Milton "Butch" and Laura Fuller of Ravenna, Terry and wife, Judy Fuller of Coopersville and James and Sandra Fuller of Norton Shores; brothers, Willis (Jane) Huss of Norton Shores and Gordon (Betty) Huss of Muskegon; sisters, Nettie (Bill) Curtice of Lansing, Delores Tardani of Muskegon, Louise Thivierge of Muskegon and sister-in-law, Glenna Huss of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Fuller, and two brothers, Marvin and Pete Huss. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 18, 2008, Fr. Thomas Simons presiding.
