Carol Shackelford

Mrs. Carol Ann Shackelford, age 70, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 4, 1946 to James & Marguerite (Krumholz) Douglas and married William Shackelford on April 27, 1968. Mrs. Shackelford had been employed as a Executive Secretary for Dura Automotive for over 12 years. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling, reading, the beach, boating, computer card games and crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband of 47 years, William; children, Robert (Tonya) Shackelford, Robyn Shackelford, Richard Shackelford; grandchildren, River, Trenton, Jett & Eleanor Shackelford, Kane Shackelford, Ava & Niselle Pierce; sister, Jane (Robert) Miscavich; brother, James Douglas; brothers & sisters-in-law, Beverly, Bernie, Jean, Don special sister-in-law/shopping buddy, Betty; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert; sisters-in-law, Nancy & Deborah.
