Mrs. Carol Elaine Ryder, age 94, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. She was born in Ludington, MI on February 14, 1925 to Claude & Violet (Fox) Johnston and married Elmer Ryder on December 16, 1944. Mrs. Ryder had worked at the Fruitport Library and was a member of First Congregational Church of Fruitport. SURVIVORS Daughters, Judy (John) Rudnick, Joy (Maribeth) Picard; grandchildren, Trevor (Alexis) Picard, Kelsey Rudnick, Dylan Picard, Kaylee Picard; sister-in-law, Doris Johnston; many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; children, Roger Ryder & Lee Ryder & 7 siblings. SERVICE Tuesday, July 30, 2019, 1:00 PM at First Congregational Church of Fruitport with Rev. Michael Scott officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Monday, 29th of July, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First Congregational Church of Fruitport.
