Carol Martin

Ms. Carol A. Martin, age 71, died Saturday, June 6, 2009. She was born in Muskegon, MI on January 8, 1938 to Clarence & Clara (Ribbink) Martin. Ms. Martin had been employed as a Kindergarten Teacher at Spring Lake Schools - Jeffers Elementary for 33 years until retiring in 1993. She was a member of First Congregational Church, the Michigan Education Association, where she was on the Board of Directors for 15 years, and was also a member of the Eastern Star - Zenusis Chapter. SURVIVORS Cousin, Raymond (June) Ribbink of Grand Haven and their sons, Ronald, Kenneth (Devon Pollack) and Andrew Ribbink. SERVICE Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Tim VanderHaar officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice or Michigan Education Association.
