Carol A. Lorenz

Carol A. (Borgeson) Lorenz, age 65, died Friday, September 19, 2008 in Hastings, MI. She was born in Muskegon to David and Marie (Perry) Borgeson on December 14, 1942, and resided in Hastings for the past 16 years. Carol worked as a Hairstylist for many years in Toledo, and then served others as a caregiver in Hastings. SURVIVORS include daughter, Jennifer Lorenz; son, Jeffrey (Nancy) Lorenz and granddaughter, Katherine of Temperance, MI; 2 brothers, David (Charlene) Borgeson of Grand Ledge, Joseph (Sandie) Borgeson of Fruitport; sister, Linda (Jim) Sowa of Muskegon; special friend, Ken Marsonek of Hastings; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, David and Marie Borgeson; and former husband, Jerry Lorenz. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 3 PM Saturday, September 27, 2008 at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI 49441 with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM.
